The 4th of July Parade and festival is a city sponsored Main Street Cultural event. This is one of the largest events of the summer, and attracted thousands of attendees last year! What a great connection between Main Street and the city of Ames!

5:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Dog Dock Jumping @ 500 block of Burnett
At dusk- City of Ames Fireworks @ 1407 University Blvd.
Tuesday, July 4th:
8:30 am - 10:30 am: City Hall Pancake Breakfast @ front entrance of City Hall
7:45 am: Friendship Ark 5k and Free Kids Run @ Ada Hayden Park

11:00 am: Parade starts!
9:00 am - 7:00 pm: Dog Dock Jumping @ 500 Block of Burnett
The Parade will begin immediately after the Bill Riley Talent Competition, at 11 am.
