4th of July Parade 7/4/17

The 4th of July Parade presented by Duck Worth Wearing is a Main Street Cultural event. This is one of the largest events of the summer, and attracted thousands of attendees last year! What a great connection between Main Street and the city of Ames!

Monday, July 3rd:

5:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Dog Dock Jumping @ 500 block of Burnett

At dusk- City of Ames Fireworks @ 1407 University Blvd.

Tuesday, July 4th:

8:30 am - 10:30 am: City Hall Pancake Breakfast @ front entrance of City Hall

7:45 am: Friendship Ark 5k and Free Kids Run @ Ada Hayden Park

9:00 am - 11:00 am: Bill Riley Talent Competition @ Intersection of Main & Burnett Ave. The winner of the Ames competition goes on to compete at the state fair.  To enter the Bill Riley Talent Competition email Sarah Buss at the Chamber of Commerce. sarah@ameschamber.com

11:00 am: Parade starts!

9:00 am - 7:00 pm: Dog Dock Jumping @ 500 Block of Burnett
